This position is responsible for assisting Monroe County municipalities with developing, implementing, and maintaining land use ordinances and plans, offering an opportunity to shape sustainable growth and ensure compliance with planning best practices to support community development and regional objectives.
Minimum qualifications for the position are as follows:
- Must possess a bachelor's degree in urban and/or regional planning, or closely related field
- Must possess two (2) years previous experience and/or training involving land use planning; OR any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the knowledge and abilities for this position
