Responsibilities: Under general supervision of the Sergeant, Captain, Chief Deputy and/or Sheriff, the Patrol Deputy performs general duty police work maintaining public safety through enforcement of county, state and federal laws, more detailed description available.
Qualifications: U.S. citizen; Minimum age - 18; Driver license; Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification; High school diploma; Associate degree - Law Enforcement plus experience; Bachelor degree - Criminal Justice preferred; Ability to possess a firearm; No felony convictions; No domestic abuse convictions; Good verbal and written communication skills; Previous experience; React quickly and effectively to stressful situations; Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; Clear and concise speech; Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously; Ability to perform essential functions of this position; Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
