What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Service Attendants (Beverage Cart, Snack Bar, Turn Bar and Lawn Service) position at Monroe Golf Club?
Outside Service will be cross trained in all of Turn Bar, Beverage Cart and Lawn Service Attendants Reports To: Outside Services Captain and Food & Beverage Manager
Job Summary: Outside Service Attendants play a vital role in the overall atmosphere of the golf course to members and guests. Responsibilities include opening and closing the the designated outside area, serving beverages and concession type foods as well as preparing them, keeping the area stocked and clean for members and giving exceptional service. Preparation of menu items and maintains cleanliness & sanitation. Must replenish with fresh products, sell products and ensure a high level of service. Working Hours: Varied, weekends and holidays necessary
Job Tasks
Responsible for the set-up of your designated area Obtain and prepare food from the Turn Bar and\/or Kitchen Requisition of all alcohol from the clubhouse.
Maintain a high level of safety and cleanliness and keep the your designated area in an orderly fashion.
Ability to use all equipment related to the Food & Beverage service as pertains to your job.
May be trained and available to cover beverage cart shifts, if needed.
Must possess a valid driver's license to operate beverage cart.
Must drive the golf cart in a cautious, safe manner and adhere to golf rules of play.
Must be polite and courteous when dealing with members, guests, and fellow associates.
Willing and able to remember member's names and use them.
All other duties as assigned by Management.
Must be willing to work with co-workers as a team.
Ability to communicate and understand the directions of your manager\/captain.
Must be able to work rapidly during rush periods and follow requests of your manager\/captain.
Exposure to cold, heat, humidity, and sunlight.
Comply with all rules and regulations as stated in the employee handbook.
Must be willing to adhere to policies\/procedures of Monroe Golf Club.
Schedule varies per the needs of the club.
Weekends, holidays, and tournaments are necessary.
Must present a neat appearance, possess a pleasant personality, and wear the required uniform and shoes.
May be required to stand (1-8 Hour periods), climb stairs, stoop, bend, lift, push & pull and reach overhead.
Prior food and beverage service experience is helpful.
Must possess good judgment and decision-making abilities.
Must be experienced & familiar with the proper methods of etiquette and food\/beverage service and presentation.
The position requires both indoor and outdoor work.
