What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN position at Monroe Health Center?
Monroe Health Center is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for a family practice setting. This nurse will work at all MHC locations including Union, Peterstown and Forest Hill, with the Union location being the home site. Position requires current LPN license and also a current BLS certification. Experience in a family practice setting with patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric. The candidate must have excellent Electronic Medical Records computer skills, good communication skills, ability to establish a good rapport with staff and patients. Experience with injections, childhood immunizations, patient screening, assist Provider with procedures as necessary. Must be well organized and possess the ability to multi-task in a busy environment. Must be willing to travel to any MHC location - must have valid driver's license.
