Responsibilities
- Perform Diagnostic Radiographic, CT Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, or Special Procedures according to department protocols.
- Participate in Quality Improvement activities and assist in maintaining Performance Improvement Programs.
- Oversee the radiology area and staff in the absence of management.
- Maintain department supplies, promote teamwork, and ensure excellent customer service.
- Schedule for assigned sub-departments and manage supplies and equipment.
- Process and transmit images to PACS.
Qualifications
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
- National certifications in two modalities.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- Preferred one year of acute clinical radiography experience.
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
- Proficient computer skills.
