Job Overview:
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have an exceptional breakfast experience, from setting up the buffet to maintaining a clean, welcoming dining area. This is a key role that contributes to our guests' satisfaction and sets the tone for their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare the breakfast buffet, ensuring food is fresh, well-stocked, and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area throughout service, including wiping down tables, replenishing supplies, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Provide exceptional guest service by assisting with any questions or requests regarding breakfast offerings.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including checking food temperatures and keeping items within safe limits.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist in restocking food and beverage items as needed, ensuring the buffet is fully stocked during breakfast hours.
- Break down and clean the breakfast area at the end of service, including washing dishes and cleaning equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure a smooth and efficient breakfast operation.
- Conduct weekly Inventory.
- Monitor spoilage and damages.
- Positively accept constructive feedback and work on improving it.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable attitude toward guests and team members.
- Flexibility with hours, including early mornings and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen and dining environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
