Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens and towels in a hotel. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate laundry equipment efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Launder, wash, dry, fold and organize towels, sheets, linens, pillows, pillow cases and comforters according to established procedures.
- Sort, categorize and organized items.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management. Log reclaim, damages and reclaim.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Assist Housekeepers in their linens and stocking of their cart.
- Positively accept constructive feedback and work on improving it.
- Any other duties instructed by General Manager.
Experience
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel or similar setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and commitment to quality service.

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
