We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
- Conduct thorough medical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
- Perform essential nursing procedures including phlebotomize, airway management, and acute pain management.
- Assist in case management by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop effective care plans.
- Utilize Cerner for electronic health records management and documentation.
- Provide support in advanced procedures such as spinal taps and esthetic laser treatments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with ICD-10 coding standards for accurate medical record keeping.
- Train and mentor new nursing staff, promoting best practices in patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
Requirements
- Current nursing license (RN) with relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner.
- Proficiency in performing nursing skills such as phlebotomize, airway management, acute pain management, spinal taps, and esthetic laser treatment.
- Familiarity with case management principles and ICD-10 coding is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as required.
