TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-Month Position, Full-Time
STARTING DATE: March 2025
SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $115,000 per school year
DEFINITION:
The Coordinator of Program Engagement for Urban-Suburban reports directly to the Director of Urban-Suburban. The Coordinator collaborates with the Director to ensure effective and efficient oversight of all functions of the department. Additionally, the Coordinator collaborates with districts, students and families participating in the Urban-Suburban Interdistrict Transfer Program.
DUTIES:
1. Assists with the coordination and implementation of specific programs at participating school districts to support common goals/objectives.
2. Assists with the management of daily operations of program and/or services provided by the Urban-Suburban department.
3. Assists with coordinating and providing information on the program and technical assistance to school district staff.
4. Assists as a direct contact for RCSD & RTS Transportation partners.
5. Provides program data management support.
6. Leads student recruitment efforts and manages social media platforms in collaboration with BOCES Communications department.
7. Assists with supporting staff at meetings with school administration regarding parent/student concerns and issues.
8. Assists in the coordination, records process, and placement of incoming students.
9. Assists with general administration, facility scheduling, budget and internal communication.
10. Assists in providing leadership, management and guidance to Higher Education and Community Partners.
11. Coordinates parent meetings and family engagement efforts in collaboration with Education Specialists.
12. Assists with the development of program literature, newsletters, handbooks, guides, and procedural information.
13. Provides oversight of Scholarship process.
14. Assists program director by working in all aspects of the program as assigned and needed.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Urban-Suburban.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. NYS Administrative Certification: School District Administrator (SDA), or School District Leader (SDL).
2. Three to five years of successful administrative/supervisory experience.
3. Knowledge of educational and community-based systems.
4. Experience with engaging diverse stakeholders through multiple communication platforms.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks in a cross-functional environment.
7. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodations).
Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
