Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team and provide overall bookkeeping services for Monroe Presbyterian Preschool. These responsibilities include maintaining accurate accounting and related finance records for all MPP accounts.
Bookkeeper will be responsible for payroll, tuition deposits, recording online payments and filing of all necessary taxes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions and managing accounts.
- Record tuition receipts in Quickbooks program and Brightwheel Software.
- Process monthly payroll including deductions of taxes.
- Pay 941 for Social Security, Medicare and Federal Tax to State and IRS monthly and quarterly.
- Prepare yearly W2 forms
- Prepare budget reports with the Director and get approval of Executive Board.
- Preare monthly financial reports for Executive Board meetings.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Quickbooks and computers is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
