- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong vision and understanding of what constitutes a successful Community Education program and the ability to articulate this vision.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (moderate to heavy lifting required).
- Strong written, verbal, and grammatical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and other relevant computer applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage schedules effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to staff, students, parents, and community members.
- Additional qualifications or preferences as determined by the Board of Education.
- Assist with advertising Community Education programs, including social media campaigns, website updates, promotional materials, flyers, and catalog development.
- Support the interviewing and hiring process for Community Education positions and provide recommendations for employment.
- Visit program locations to stay informed and serve as a resource to others.
- Assist with the coordination of teaching clinics for all coaches.
- Assist with administrative supervision for intramural programs.
- Assist with purchasing and maintaining athletic equipment used in intramural programs.
- Collaborate with other community agencies to prevent duplication of services.
- Assist with coordination of facility usage and building rentals for Community Education programs.
- Answer phones, return voicemail messages, and respond to social media inquiries.
- Conduct formal and informal community assessments to determine Community Education needs, including enrichment, recreation, academics, cultural, and social activities.
- Participate in the planning and development of Community Education programs.
- Establish registration procedures, collect and deposit fees, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain accurate participation records, program needs assessments, and evaluations.
- Ensure all Community Education programs operate effectively and update guidelines as necessary.
- Assist with collecting and organizing required documentation for program teachers, coaches, staff, and volunteers, including contracts, iCHAT forms, and other necessary paperwork.
- Develop and manage the security calendar for Community Education programs, ensuring proper communication with the Community Education team and relevant departments.

Reports To: Coordinator of Community Education
Location: Based at the Administration Building with work in multiple district locations.
Compensation & Schedule:
Hourly Rate: $18.65 per hour (3rd party contract).
Schedule: Flexible schedule required, including evenings and weekends for program support.
Base Hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10:00 AM β 4:00 PM.
