Job Summary :
As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production of our premium furniture products. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for the precise and efficient assembly of various wooden components, ensuring the final products meet our stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately assemble furniture components
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to join, fit, and secure wooden parts
- Perform quality checks throughout the assembly process to identify and address any issues
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any incidents or hazards immediately
- Assist with the packaging and preparation of completed furniture items for shipment
Qualifications :
Working Conditions :
This position is based in our production facility in Worcester, MA. The work environment is a well-lit, climate-controlled manufacturing setting. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions associated with furniture assembly. Proper personal protective equipment will be provided.
