What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electromechanical Tester position at Monroe Staffing?
We are looking for a competent Electromechanical Tester. This position is located in the Welcome Business Park, conveniently located off Highway 52, in a clean, temperature controlled (AC and heat!) facility. This is NOT a temp job, this position is Permanent!
Your job will be to assess electromechanical equipment for safety and efficiency prior to shipment. They must be in good working order, functioning correctly, and comply with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential.
*Responsibilities*
* Test and operate equipment for PLC accuracy and mechanical function
* Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
* Manipulate electrical systems up to 480V
* Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
* Coordinate with assemblers and wirers to correct errors in the production process
*Skills*
* Proven experience working with electrical systems up to 480V
* Skill in electronic systems, particularly PLCs
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
* Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
* A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
* Good communication abilities
Documentation of associate degree in a related field is REQUIRED for this position. The starting pay for this role is $21.29 to $22.29 depending on shift.
