The Extrusion Technician C is responsible for collaborating with team members to efficiently produce flexible products that meet customer specifications. This includes assisting in the setup and operation of thermoplastic extruders and auxiliary equipment to convert plastic resins into blown film for plastic sheeting and tubing. The role ensures adherence to production standards to deliver high-quality products within specified timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with the setup of film extruders and auxiliary equipment.
• Inspect completed rolls for defects, conduct quality checks, weigh, label, and package production.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning screen packs, breaker plates, dies, nip rolls, treater rolls, resin filters, and other related equipment.
• Operate tools and machinery including forklift trucks, platform trucks, overhead cranes, and hand tools.
• Manage inventory and ensure proper material storage.
• Support technicians with setups, changeovers, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and advance in the role.
• Promptly report unusual conditions, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns.
• Maintain clean and orderly equipment and work areas in compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct quality checks and complete associated documentation accurately.
• Perform visual inspections during web checks to identify defects.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
