Job DescriptionMonroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring a Linen Distribution Technician for a well-known laundry company located in downtown Charleston, SCThe ideal candidate must be able to keep up with the linen orders and demands of the hospital along with being responsible for picking up all soiled linen from each floor. Hours : 1st Shift 5 : 30 am - 1 : 30 pm (every other weekend required), 25-30 hours per week weekSalary : $15 per hourKey Responsibilities of a Linen Distribution TechnicianResponsible for all linen distribution and collection throughout the hospitalChecks linen inventory and restocks each designated linen station.Loads and unloads linen trucks for pick-up and delivery.Pick up all soiled carts from all floors.Take and fill orders for hospital staff.Clean linen room as necessary including sweeping, mopping, and organizing.Qualifications for a Linen Distribution TechnicianAbility to be on your feet for your full shift.Required to bend, reach, pull and push laundry bags and garments. Ability to lift linen bags up to 50lbs.Follow all verbal instructions and assignments given.
