MATERIAL HANDLER

Responsibilities
- Open containers to verify count and specifications.
- Load and unload materials on or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves.
- Secure lifting attachments to materials and move loads to destination.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials and mark information on cases, bales or other containers.
- Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together.
- Shovel loose materials into machine hoppers or vehicles and containers.
- Operate industrial truck and electric hoists.
Qualifications
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. without assistance.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to reason and problem solve as it pertains to position.
- Ability to learn and navigate manufacturing software.
- Must be able to discern number formats
- Must be able to describe inventory locations in detail
