The Project/Operations Manager position is responsible to develop and execute a detailed project plan to expand Monroe Truck Equipment business in Joliet; use problem solving skills, plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.

Position
The Project/Operations Manager position is responsible to develop and execute a detailed project plan to expand Monroe Truck Equipment business in Joliet; use problem solving skills, plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Profit and Loss (P&L) duties for the plant, including monitoring net income after expenses influencing how company resources are allocated.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Establishes product inventory and monitors for appropriate turns and inventory.
- Analyzes plant budget to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocates operating budget.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Prepares daily, weekly, or monthly reports for top management to communicate, summarize, and analyze plant performance or changes to be implemented.
- Manage the processes that ensure timely delivery of quality products and services.
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Hire, train, evaluate, assign, or discharge staff or resolve personnel grievances.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
Qualifications
- 5-7 plus years of plant management experience.
- Experience working in a growing environment strongly preferred.
- Experience managing at least $50 million in annual revenues.
- Must have strong ERP Experience – SAP preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a manufacturing operation.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work without direct supervision and efficiently manage tasks and time.
