CORE RESPONSIBILITIES OF ADJUNCT INSTRUCTORS:
Monroe University is seeking adjunct instructors in each of the schools and for general education courses. Positions are available for teaching on Monroe’s Bronx and New Rochelle campuses and for teaching online. Classes are offered during the day, in the evening, and for the graduate division we offer a hybrid schedule on Saturdays.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- A Master's degree or higher in marketing, digital marketing or a related field. Doctoral degree preferred for teaching these subject areas at the graduate level. Also, recognized certifications in supporting areas of instruction, e.g. (Google Ads, Google Analytics, etc.) is preferred
- Professional experience related to the field of digital and social media marketing is required.
- Proven experience in teaching or training in practical application of digital marketing principles, strategies, and tools, or related areas is preferred.
- (Technical) Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms is required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- University-level teaching experience preferred
- Experience using a learning management system, such as Blackboard, a plus
