What You'll Do:
- Work in various areas of the nursery to gain a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to grow beautifully.
- Spend time in propagation, canning, pruning, assembling orders, shipping, research, and sales.
- Attend classroom learning sessions and a scheduled field trip.
- Learn from our experienced craftsmen.
- Support our company values through effective communication with fellow craftsmen.
Who You Are:
- You're pursuing a degree in Ornamental Horticulture or a related field, or have relevant experience and knowledge.
- You're eager to learn and excited about the opportunity.
- You communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and are open to feedback.
- You're available to work Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm and ½ day on Saturdays.
- You can maneuver around the office and nursery, lift up to 35 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks like squatting, bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- You're interested in career opportunities with Monrovia after completing your internship.
