The 4th-8th grade Spanish Teacher will serve as a full-time teacher in our Catholic School. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standards-based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
Essential Functions
- Develop and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that align with curriculum standards set by the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
- Creates an instructional environment conducive to learning
- Maintains accurate and complete records of student’s progress and development, in a timely manner, and communicates standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents through email, phone calls, conferences, and electronic grade book on a regular basis.
- Assess student understanding through a variety of formative and summative assessments.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with varying abilities and learning styles.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, required
- MSDE Certification or the willingness to obtain certification, required
- Classroom teaching experience, preferred
- Proficient in using a variety of technology.
