This position is responsible for the complete oversight of the brewery operations overseeing Brewhouse, Cellar and Quality departments. Sets a positive leadership example through proactive management.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining all Monster Brewing Quality Guidelines
- Work with other Operations and General Managers to ensure effective communication and coordination between production departments
- Guide the Brewing, Cellar and Quality managers and teams in the proper execution of the day-to-day facility tasks
- Oversee regular internal inventory audits and ensure reports are accurate and submitted timely
- Engage in continual improvement projects and always strive to make operations smooth, efficient, and of the highest quality
- Lead the Brewing, Cellar and Quality teams in providing a reliable and consistent work environment that promotes the individual and collective success of employees and managers
- Monitor the brewery operational metrics and make recommendations on identified trends to either re-enforce positive trends or take corrective action
- Continually evaluate all brewery processes, personnel, and infrastructure systems
- Lead Brewhouse, Cellar and Quality managers, using a proactive approach for process improvement
- Communicate effectively and timely using email, phone, text, and verbal tools
- Ensure relevant teams are compliant with all company polices and safety guidelines
- Set a good example for safety in the workplace, leading by example
- Promote and work with the brewery safety coordinator(s) and MBC safety director(s) to ensure all policies are adhered to and supported

- Successfully navigate and operate in MBC software systems, including but not limited to Orchestrated Beer, Redzone and Microsoft Suite

- Communicate effectively and demonstrate willingness to ask questions before proceeding with unsurety
- Demonstrate responsible and well-informed decision making
Physical & Mental Requirements
Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. ?Required to frequently lift and move 10-75 pounds. ?Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls. May be required to manage and support weekend and overnight shifts.
