Position Summary:
The data collections supervisor will be primarily focused on data analysis, support, and development of the Data Collection team. This position is required to thoroughly understand the various reporting and data systems within Monster and have the ability to make recommendations and decisions based on that data. The individual will work closely with multiple other departments and the Data Manager, supporting existing and new business initiatives as needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop team’s data expertise by imparting knowledge, learning techniques, resourcefulness and provide appropriate documentation and training as needed.
- Identify, research, and communicate data related issues to the appropriate parties for resolution and coordinates all status reporting to follow management guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and make recommendations to improve methodology, inputs, and compliance with policies to ensure accuracy of reporting.
- Serve as primary subject matter expert to effectively consult with varying sales teams and distributor partners.
- Assist with creating or improving processes to retrieve data from various internal and external sources.
- Maintain a broad understanding of overall organizational structure, routines, data reporting architecture to route customer inquiries to correct team or contact by applying knowledge of roles within hierarchy.
- Monitor day-to-day operations of department. Oversees Data Management Helpdesk Inbox daily; ensuring all inquiries and ad-hoc requests are resolved within a 48-hour window.
- Formulate and implement new techniques for data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data. Use large sets of data to identify and resolve issues before they have an adverse effect.
- Oversee the end-to-end processes for Daily/Weekly/Monthly audits and Quarterly/Yearly Volume Audits; to include making recommendation on process improvements. Supervise the completion of shipments balance between all systems such as: VIP iDIG, SAP, BI Reporting, and Salient.
- Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Statistics, Business, Data Analytics
- Between 3-5 years of analytical experience and use of sales reporting tools and data
- Between 1-3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including highly developed skills in Excel
- Analytics certification is a plus
- Ability to use and learn a variety of query and reporting tools
- Ability to identify issues within highly detailed data
- Ability to develop a solution and/or business process
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; decision making and problem solving
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in group dynamics and stand out during individual projects
- Good time management skills
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets to arrange, manipulate, format, and prepare large amounts of information.
Base Pay Range: 74,651k - 99,535k
