Position Summary:
The Strategy Director, also supporting the EBU will operate as the strategy business partner for the Senior VP in the given Region(s) and lead multiple National Commercial Planning initiatives. This role will be tasked with assisting in the development, communication and implementation of company strategies. This role will also be responsible for studying the business and delivering solutions to protect the future Moonshot goal. The vision is to achieve the long-term strategic sales and distribution plan for the Monster brand portfolio in support of the Company’s business objectives while considering the competitive landscape and Bottling network.
Essential Job Functions:
- BU SVP Business Partner
- Knowledge of Business Unit bottling network within the assigned geography
- Assist Strategy Team in defining National Objectives for growth
- Build annual Plans that align to 2030 Moonshot vision
- Bring forth market, competitive or future nuances to drive new strategy development for company
- Complete, communicate and execute annual plans
- Create and customize national initiatives for implementation with Bottlers in designated geography
- Customize national operating plans for the Region and support BU/Bottler execution
- Integrate with MEC BU Leadership team to identify local opportunities and strategies to capitalize on
- Support Commercial Directors in communication/development of sales tactics and CEP execution to support annual plans
- Build a strong network of relationships within the Bottler network at the Senior leadership level
- Spend time in the local markets to gather feedback for improvement based on geographical nuances
- Support Commercial teams with innovation launch plans to include forecasting, merchandising and pricing
- Create selling tools and/or communication plan for local teams to execute company initiatives
- Execute special projects or assignments as directed by the Company
This role will be the: - Bottler Economics expert and resource for sales teams
- Primary connection with Bottler RGM & Category Management departments
- BU voice to help shape company strategies
- Represent Company and the brands effectively to all constituencies, maintaining at all times a professional code of conduct

Possess and understanding of Monster Energy’s bottling partners
Tenured sales experience, either in a distributor sales environment, retail, or broker
Preferred experience with Coca-Cola and/or MEC distribution system
Requires Strategic Planning, Commercial Planning experience
