Salary: $150,000 - $200,000/yr

The Vice President of Finance is a key member of the executive management team and will lead financial operations, HR, and legal functions within the company, driving strategic financial initiatives that fuel growth and efficiency. You will lead the financial strategy for the introduction and scale-up of our new B2B SaaS product, employing meticulous accounting practices in an entrepreneurial environment to ensure robust financial health and compliance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive team to drive company growth and profitability
- Develop and monitor the company's financial strategy, including capital structure, financing, and investment decisions
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Oversee accounting operations, ensuring accuracy of financial statements and compliance with GAAP
- Manage cash flow and optimize the company's financial position
- Develop KPIs and metrics to evaluate business performance and SaaS-specific metrics
- Lead financial due diligence for potential M&A opportunities
- Oversee financial risk management, including internal controls and compliance
- Enhance HR and legal frameworks to attract, retain, and develop top talent
You’ve got what it takes if you:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA is preferred
- 8 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior finance role
- 2 years of experience in leading Human Resources and Legal departments in a small to mid-sized organization
- Experienced with the SaaS business model, especially in B2B environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 with advanced skills using Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in the use of QuickBooks

- Can effectively juggle high-level abstract business development projects as well as oversee day-to-day accounting operations
Interview Process:
The selection process will include several rounds of interviews with the executive team and key stakeholders, designed to assess fit both technically and culturally:
- Initial phone screen with HR Advisor
- Interview with interim CFO
- 2nd interview with Senior Accountant and CEO
- Final interview with COO and CVO
How you will be measured for success in the role:
- In the first 30 days, focus on understanding the financial, HR, and legal structures, establishing key relationships.
- By 60 days, fully take charge of all financial operations and strategic initiatives, with a clear execution plan for upcoming product launches.
- By 90 days, demonstrate effective leadership and significant progress in financial and strategic goals, with metrics-driven results enhancing business operations
