Responsibilities :
- The lift operator works hands-on in the man lift, performing all primary tree care services; pruning, removals, cabling and bracing, and proper and safe rigging techniques.
- Ensure that all tree care work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
- Participates in all job site safety briefings and is consistently up to date on all job safety skills.
- Understand and perform proper job site security procedures.
- Conduct tree risk assessments prior to working on trees.
- Ensure that all equipment safety and maintenance procedures are followed.
- Proficient in the installation of supplemental support systems (cabling and bracing).
- Proficient in the use of wood / log moving equipment.
- Follow directions from the Crew Leader, Sales Arborist, and Owner.
- Always adhere to all industry and company safety standards and policies including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other job-related tasks requested by Crew Leader or Owner for the successful operation of the business.
