What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Mont du Lac Resort?
Mont Du Lac Resort in Superior, WI is looking for experienced bartenders/Servers to join our team. We are located at 3125 S Mont Du Lac Dr., Superior WI.
This position is for day and evening shifts availability 5 days a week. Day Shifts (Sat/Sun) are 11:00am-5pm or 2pm to 7pm and evenings shifts (Wed/Thu/Fri) 4pm - 11pm.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol and non-alcohol beverages
- Serving guests at tables including at the bar
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks
- Anticipate customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Present bar menu
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Clean bar area and glassware
Qualifications
- Working experience as a bartender and server (preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate (can obtain before, during or after hiring process)
