Terrain Park Crew Member

Mont Du Lac Resort in Superior, WI is looking for lift operators for this winter season. We are located at 3125 S Mont Du Lac Dr. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working.

Type: Part-Time

Shifts Available: 

Mon - Build Days (Alternative build days Tuesday)

Wed-Fri - 3:30pm-9pm

Sat - 9am-9pm

Sun - 9am-6pm

Wage: $14 based on experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

A labor intensive position responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair of all features; in addition to safety awareness, Terrain Park etiquette and guest relations within the Terrain Park.

The specific duties of Terrain Park Crew Member shall include but not be limited to:

·        Know or, willing to learn, how to use a park rake.

·        Must be friendly and helpful when greeting and assisting customers.

·        Be able to test features on a snowboard or skis. Helmet is required.

·        Work will be outside for the entire shift, in all types of weather including extreme conditions.

·        Must be agile on soft and hard packed snow.

·        Must be able to walk safely down the slopes.

·        Work as part of a team to complete tasks. 

·        Perform daily pre-operation inspections and post-operation shutdown procedures.

·        Recognize and communicate hazards and follow all safety standards.

·        Always maintain proper communication, including updating lift logs, using lift telephones/radios and communicating with others, when necessary, about incidents and safety concerns.

·        If over 18, driving a snowmobile, will be trained regardless of experience.

·        Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:

·        Will be working in all weather conditions for extended periods of time.

·        Has reliable transportation to and from work.

·        Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds.

·        Snow shoveling required.

·        Must be able to be on your feet for the entire shift.
