Job Description:
Under the department leadership, the electronic technician is responsible for performing scheduled or nonscheduled maintenance and repairs on electronic systems and equipment.
Experience
Three to four years’ experience and demonstrated skills in the maintenance, repair, and programming of alarm systems including fire alarm, security alarm, access control, and associated video and other equipment. Telephone experience desirable.
Education
High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent work experience in related field. Vocational or trade school training in an applicable field preferred.
Licensure/Certifications
Must possess a valid California driver’s license.
This position requires driving. In addition to a valid CA driver’s license, the following are required: Automobile insurance as required by the State of California with an acceptable driving record of three points or less, participation in the DMV pull-notice program, and an automobile available for daily work.
