Job Description :
Under the leadership of the department director and their assigned supervisor, the food service worker I has a variety of duties. Duties may include but are not limited to : dishwashing, pot washing, environmental cleaning, sanitation and waste disposal, bussing of tables, delivery and retrieval of patient trays and / or carts, delivery of food and non-food supplies, stocking of food and non-food supplies, and basic food / beverage production.
Experience
Fluency, the ability to communicate orally, and the ability to read and write in English is required. Passing a basic reading and math test is required. Working quickly and accurately is required. Basic food / beverage production skills are required. Food service experience is preferred.
Education
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education or experience in related field required.
Licensure / Certifications
California Food Handler’s card at the time of hire or within three (3) months of employment.

Assigned Work Hours :
Per diem, varied days and shifts as needed. No set guaranteed hours in a two week pay period. This is not a full or part time position.
