Position Overview :
We are searching for an experienced Location Manager to oversee our lumber operations.
The Location Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the lumber yard, and overseeing the inventory, purchasing, and delivery of materials.
Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in the lumber industry, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of lumber products and equipment.
Ultimately, the role of the Location Manager is to ensure our operations run smoothly, our staff is well-managed and trained, and our customers are satisfied.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead all lumber yard operations
Manage staff schedules, performance, and training
Ensure safety regulations and protocols are adhered to
Oversee inventory control, purchasing, and delivery of materials
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient lumber yard
Collaborate with sales team to maximize profits and customer satisfaction
Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance
Prepare operational reports and budgets
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Working Conditions :
Job requires standing and walking for extended periods of time, lifting merchandise and fixtures up to 50lbs throughout the store. It also requires frequent visits to the lumber yard and sheds where extreme temperature will be common.
