Mortgage Loan Processor: If you thrive in a fast-paced role, this could be for you! Our Mortgage Loan Processor is a key member of Montana Credit Union’s Real Estate team and plays a vital role in supporting members through the mortgage lending process, from application through closing. This full-time position is responsible for gathering and verifying financial documentation, reviewing loan applications, preparing disclosures, and coordinating closings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service to members and business partners. This individual will work closely with the Mortgage Loan Officer, title companies, appraisers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and accurate processing of mortgage loans.
Well-qualified candidates will have familiarity with mortgage regulations, including RESPA, Reg B, Rec C (HMDA), SAFE Act, Flood Disaster Protection Act, Homeowners Protection Act, and the Fair Housing Act. Two years of related mortgage or financial services experience is required; experience with secondary marketing lending will be preferred.
