Montana Kids Denal is seeking a Dental Assistant to be a part of our growing team. We are a pediatric dental practice and the candidate must love working with children. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic individual. Duties, Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Must possess an active Montana x-ray certificate (within 6 months of employment) and a current BLS certification preferred.
* Compassionately performs dental hygiene procedures while ensuring comfort of the patient.
* Educates on the importance of dental hygiene, assists dentist and participates with communicating dental treatment options.
* Must possess verbal and written communication skills and be well educated in dentistry and dental hygiene.
* Ability to connect with patients and build new relationships.
*Attend and participate in monthly staff meetings, other meetings as requested and in-service trainings.
*Demonstrates strong leadership skills and promotes teamwork.
*Follows all clinical protocols and procedures as outlined in the Provider Handbook.
*Performs other duties as requested.
Dentrix software experience is recommended.
The position will be 4-5 days per week and requires 1-2 days of travel to Helena, MT. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday’s, 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. Travel days are extended from roughly 6:45am-5:15pm. We provide vehicle to travel in, along with compensated time for travel.
Starting salary will be determined depending on experience. Benefits are available after 90 day period.
