Requirements
● 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
● A record of achievement in academic or industry research.
● Strong organizational and communication skills.
● Expertise in aseptic cell biology techniques.
● Competence in experimental design, problem solving, and project management.
● Ability to follow and implement standard operating procedures.
● Molecular biology expertise.
● Experience using live cell assays.
● Familiarity with pharmacology measurements and GraphPad Prism.
● Ability to work effectively with a team of other scientists to ensure customer satisfaction.
● Positive attitude.
● B.S. or M.S. in a relevant discipline (e.g., biology, neuroscience, pharmacology).
Responsibilities
● Report to the Associate Director of Assay Services.
● Implement standards to design, develop, optimize, and document GPCR signaling assays in living cells in a customer-focused environment.
● Communicate constructively to promote teamwork, safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
● Analyze data and discuss results with team members.
● Maintain standard operating procedures.
● Keep a detailed lab notebook on a daily basis.
● Instrument maintenance and upkeep.
● Participation in weekly group meetings.
