Drummond Schools is actively seeking enthusiastic, driven, and passionate applicants for an Elementary (K-8)Â Â teaching position starting for the 2025-2026 school year.Â
Drummond Schools has approximately 170 students K-12 with 105 students K-8. The school district is well known for its professional staff, supportive community, great work environment, and awesome students.
Drummond is located in beautiful western Montana, 45 miles east of Missoula and 65 miles west of Butte. Drummond is nestled right next to the largest river by volume in Montana, the Clark Fork river with breathtaking views of the Pintler Mountains. Countless recreational activities such as world class fishing, hunting, skiing, camping, and hiking are literally right out your back door, as well as being just a short drive to two of the larger cities in Montana. The town of Drummond offers several amenities including several shops, restaurants, a bank, a
health clinic, and much more.
Starting salary will range between $35,000 to $45,000. The district will honor up to 5 years teaching experience. In addition, Drummond Schools offers 4 day school week, EXCELLENT benefits including health insurance, 3 personal days, and 12 sick days. Of course, another great benefit is the students!
Successful applicants must be properly certified in the state of Montana or be able to obtain proper certification as well as have a favorable state and federal background check. Preference is given to applicants with multiple endorsement areas.
District owned housing may be available.

Qualifications
- Demonstrate successful teaching experience bringing all students to their highest achievement levels.
- Demonstrate successful collaboration with team members to create a learning community.
- Â Montana Teacher certification with Elementary (K-8) Teaching endorsement, or ability to be certified by the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
