What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver - Bargain Center position at Montana Rescue Mission?

The Montana Rescue Mission Bargain Center is seeking a Driver. The Driver is responsible for pickups and deliveries of donated goods, and perishable items.

- Valid Montana Driver’s License and the ability to be covered under MRM vehicle insurance carrier.
- 25 years of age, due to insurance liability
- Neatly groomed appearance, including clean clothing and personal hygiene.
- Must be able to read, write and perform basic mathematical computations
- Personable, courteous, respectful and professional in interactions with others
- Able to safely complete duties in a timely manner
- Knowledge of greater Billings area and able to read a map
- Physically fit, knowledge and use of safe handling and lifting techniques
- Working in inclement weather and occasional odd hours
- Stand, climb, bend, balance, twist, push, pull, stoop, carry, kneel, walk, use stairs and maneuver in a crowded environment.
- Heavy Lifting/Loading and move up to 75 lbs. or more with assistance, 50 lbs.
- Use of manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, fine motor skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
25 years of age, due to insurance liability required.
Previous experience driving a commercial truck and loading/unloading such, preferred.
