What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Yard Operator position at Montana Rock Works?
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:
Drives and operates an industrial equipment to lift, scoop, push, pull, stack, tier, load products & materials. Assists customers with selection and sales.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Operate and maintain loader.
· Assist with retail / contractor services and sales
· Stage, grade orders, create samples, and maintain flow of product
· Load outbound trucks and unload inbound trucks ensuring accuracy, completeness, and condition of the shipments.
· Load or unload materials on pallets, boxes, lifting device.
· Check in MTRW / Vendor orders
· Examine outgoing shipment to ensure specifications are met.
· Weekly and monthly inventory counts for accounting.
· Weigh materials or productions and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules
· Stay up to date on all OSHA / MSHA regulations.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent; or 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination
EXPERIENCE/ LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Customer Service Experience a plus.
Valid Driver’s License.
SCHEDULE:
This position is expected to keep a regular working schedule according to business demands. A requirement of 40 hours per week is expected. Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5 PM.
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
