- Current enrollment in master’s degree.
Experience Required:
- A current unencumbered Registered Nursing license to practice professional nursing in Montana.
- Two years nursing experience working in either a clinical setting or teaching in a nursing program, within the past five years.
- Clinical competency in general nursing skills
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in the workplace, such as with community and health care entities
- Demonstrated experience in using software applications ( i.e. Microsoft Office)
- Demonstrated experience working in mental health nursing
- Master’s degree in nursing,
- Master’s degree in nursing, with coursework in mental health nursing
Experience Preferred:
- Demonstrated teaching excellence in an accredited registered nurse or practical nursing program
- Demonstrated experience teaching in an online platform (i.e. Desire to Learn OR Canvas)
- Teaching experience at a Two-Year accredited institution of Higher Education.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting under-prepared students.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills.
- Commitment to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations of students, faculty, and staff.
- Ability to represent the college and the university as a professional.
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
- A passion for education that supports individual, economic, and social change.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the concepts, technologies, principles, and practices of process facilities applied to local industries.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in all facets of the student-teacher relationship and to teach a diverse group of students.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
