Montante Construction, a division of the Montante Group of companies, is seeking a Construction Estimating Intern for the Summer of 2025 to work alongside our existing team and learn in the field! We have a number of exciting projects and wish to build long term relationships with skilled, passionate talent in Western New York!

About the Role:
As a Construction Estimating Intern, you will work alongside the Estimating professionals and assist in the following areas, providing the opportunity to learn and grow in the field:
- Identifying clear scopes of work and risk factors
- Bid procurement and communication
- Quantity take-offs and Quality summaries
- Assist with maintenance and updating of directory of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that the directory is accurate up to date.
- Attend site visits, pre-bid walkthroughs, and bid deliveries
- Understand safety and ensuring safety programs are implemented with all subcontractors
Minimum requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Will consider interested individuals, as part of a school program (for credit) or separate from a school requirement
- Some experience or exposure to construction site work or related education preferred
- Willingness to learn and to take initiative
- Organized and detail oriented
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
