About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Head of AI with a passion for developing cutting-edge AI-powered solutions in a fast-paced startup environment. This role will be pivotal in shaping the company’s AI strategy, driving the development of innovative products, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in applied AI, proven leadership experience, and the ability to create and deploy impactful AI solutions for industry-specific problems.
Responsibilities
- Define AI Strategy - Set the technical direction for AI projects, ensuring the development of scalable, impactful solutions that align with business goals.
- Lead Product Development - Drive the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of AI-powered tools in areas such as NLP, recommendation systems, workflow automation, and generative AI.
- Build and Manage a Team - Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing AI team of 14, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Optimize AI Operations - Establish scalable AI pipelines, optimize cloud infrastructure, and implement best practices for MLOps to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate Across Teams - Partner with product, engineering, and business teams to align AI initiatives with company objectives and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Stay at the Forefront of Innovation - Continuously explore and implement cutting-edge AI techniques to maintain the company’s competitive edge.
