The Role :
This VC backed sorganization are looking to bring on a solutions oriented VP of Product to be the product champion and advocate for our GenAI tools and products. You need to be a proven Product Leader with big vision, innovative strategy, the ability to execute on a product road map and a 'problem-solver' attitude to take the org to the next level. You will need to have already been part of high-impact and successful SaaS startups that have hyper-scaled and / or exited.
It is crucial that you have been a major player and decision maker at organizations that are disruptive in their fields, and you have the product and business acumen to make such large-scale decisions. You will need to be a a natural-born leader with demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and support our existing world class product team comprised of senior product managers and senior product designers. You have previous experience and find pride in leveling up your team so that they can continue to achieve their professional goals and aspirations. This position will report into and partner closely with our CEO and Leadership Team to lead product direction and be expected to learn and develop a solid understanding of which product priorities should make the road map each quarter. You will collaborate warmly and effectively cross-functionally with all surrounding teams including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Operations, and People, to ensure product and team cohesion throughout the organization. You must also be able to show genuine passion about the generative AI space and the company's products.
Responsibilities :
- Influence and shape long-term product vision, strategy, goals, and metrics
- Redefine and redesign the product function; what it's responsible for, how it interfaces with other teams, and how it'll grow and evolve over time
- Enable effective execution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and the team to create effective collaboration models, processes, and operations to improve execution velocity.
- Build alignment across product teams and cross-functional leaders through clear communication and strategic influence
- Lead, coach, motivate, and mentor our highly-capable and growing team of Product Managers and Product Designers
