This is a seasonal role with an anticipated end date in October 2025.
Lead Server
Summary of Position: Assist the Restaurant Manager in training and supporting all Servers to be proficient in serving food and/or beverages in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the company’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide training and support to less experienced Restaurant staff by modeling professionalism with guests and other employees
- Ensure accuracy with all guest orders by maintaining expert knowledge of POS system(s)
- Possess thorough and accurate knowledge of menu items and specials
- Proficient and honest in cash handling and credit card transactions
- Assist Restaurant management with coaching of restaurant staff and maintain thorough knowledge of Company’s Restaurant operating procedures
- Ensure alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with Federal, State, Local regulations and Company procedure
- Assist Restaurant management with timely and accurate sales and tips reports and cash/credit card receipts Understand Company ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, Health and Safety standards, policies, goals and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas
- Model teamwork and help restaurant management meet business objectives
- Other duties per Duties Checklist and as requested
Position Requirements:
- Possess ServSafe Certification in accordance with Company policy
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
- Excellent communication skills
- Be a team player capable of encouraging others in a positive manner
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and handle tasks involving bending, twisting and squatting
- Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum (1) year in a restaurant establishment
- Resort/Park Concession preferred
