What are the responsibilities and job description for the Doughnut Maker position at Montclair Bread Company?
Responsibilities include:
Punching holes in doughnuts, frying doughnuts and cleanup afterwards.
Finishing doughnuts, either with toppings or fillings.
Prepping fillings and toppings, as well as prepping items for front of house if you have extra time.
Mixing simple recipes such as muffins, meal bars, chicken salad.
2am to 8am Wednesday through Sunday.
Fast-paced environment, food prep or food service experience preferred.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Consistency is incredibly important; when members of the production team fail to show up, it stresses coworkers and jeopardizes the business.
You must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds on your own.
Must be comfortable working with lots of people near you.
Must be able to read and follow a recipe, use simple equipment such as mixers and kitchen scales accurately and correctly. Must have previous experience with doughnuts, preferable artisanal doughnuts.
Keen attention to detail and quality are essential.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
