Montclair Kimberley Academy, an innovative PK – 12 independent day school with a strong national reputation and a recognized 1:1 laptop program, seeks a full-time Upper School Mathematics / Computer Science teacher beginning the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate joins MKA at an exciting time of growth in our STEM program and facilities. Responsibilities include teaching four sections of mathematics, statistics, or computer science, and serving as an advisor to a group of approximately ten students.

Qualified Applicants Will Meet The Following Criteria
- BS/BA or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science or related discipline;
- Experience and/or interest in statistics or computer science education, particularly at the Advanced Placement level, is a plus;
- Experience teaching high school students;
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills;
- Range of instructional strategies to implement a student-centered approach in a 75-minute block period;
- Commitment to helping students one-on-one outside of the classroom;
- Strong interest in nurturing and mentoring students as both an advisor and as an extracurricular activity sponsor or coach.
