Monte Cassino School is seeking an Asst. Director of Communication and Marketing & Alumni Outreach to begin work in September 2024.
Monte Cassino School is a Catholic Benedictine, independent, co-ed school, Grades PK3-8, with an Early Childhood Learning Center (PK3-K), Elementary School (grades 1-4), and Middle School (grades 5-8) in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With over 830 students and rooted in the Values of Benedictine education, Monte Cassino School inspires its students to lead and serve, through lives of purpose that integrate faith, academics, community, and personal growth in pursuit of our school motto, “Every day at Monte Cassino School we do our best so that in all things God may be Glorified.”
The Asst. Director of and Marketing & Alumni Outreach plays an important role in promoting Monte Cassino to our school community, greater Tulsa area and prospective families. The position supports the image and reputation of our school students and staff on social media and traditional digital and print marketing. This position supports all departments on our campus.
The Asst. Director of Communication and Marketing & Alumni Outreach
- Executes and manages social media strategies and content
- Graphic design skills – digital, print, and social media content to support Admissions, Development, Athletics, and the Business Office with annual reports, alumni newsletters, centennial newsletters, etc.
- Manages video production for social media and marketing campaigns
- Demonstrates experience leading and managing SEO, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
- Understanding of media relations and digital media strategies
- Provides support to programs and internal teams: Admissions, Development, Athletics, etc.
- Manages, creates, and updates content on website
- Helps facilitate effective internal communications to families
- Oversees yearbook creation, sales, and distribution
- Works with Development to increase alumni engagement helping manage alumni events and outreach
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional work experience in marketing, social media strategy
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is preferred.
- Has a positive team-focused attitude, is organized, and can prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Resourceful, problem-solver, critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail, and strong work ethic
- Enjoys taking photos of events and happenings on campus with a journalistic eye and catalog
- Participates in weekend and evening events as needed - occasionally
- Proficient in MS Office; design software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Canva); Google Analytics; social media schedulers (Meta) for Facebook, Instagram
Physical requirements:
- Works at a desk and on a computer for periods; must be able to operate office equipment
- Works in a dynamic environment, dealing with a wide variety of challenges and deadlines
- Must have the physical energy and stamina to move about campus throughout the day, including climbing staircases; may work long hours.
- Be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds
