Overview
Monte Rosa Therapeutics is seeking for a highly motivated Research Associate, Proteomics to join the Proteomics team for a six-month internship. The role will focus on developing an automated high-throughput proximity assay optimized for mass spectrometry analysis. The intern will work closely with experienced scientists, gaining hands-on experience in assay development, mass spectrometry and data analysis. Responsibilities
- Design and optimize an automated high-throughput proximity assay for protein interaction studies
- Assay Validation
- Collaboration with team members to troubleshoot and improve assay performance

Qualifications
- Our preference is for a student currently in a Master’s degree program in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry or a related Life Science field.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong desire to learn the most advanced approaches in Proteomics, drug discovery and targeted protein degradation.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and cell line generation (BSL1 and BSL2 standards), biochemical techniques (e.g. Western Blot, Protein-Protein interaction assays).
- Basic Knowledge of mass spectrometry and chromatography techniques
- Familiarity with liquid handling automation platforms (e.g. Agilent Bravo, Opentrons) will be a plus.
- Excellent documentation, organization and communication skills.
