Monte Sano Research Corporation (MSRC) is a Huntsville-based Small Business specializing in providing full-spectrum defense system engineering, research, design, development, integration, test, evaluation, and planning services to the U.S. Government.
MSRC is seeking a full-time experienced, reliable, and task-oriented Staff Action Control Analyst. The Analyst will provide support to the Short and Intermediate Effectors for Layered Defense (SHIELD) Program Office and supporting Directorates. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment with a strong work ethic.
Job Description:
- Provides a full range of support for Project Office management and operations, including staff counsel, administrative expertise, program management, and analytical functions essential to the effective management and operation of the organization.
- Performs analysis of requirements, guidance, tracking, administration, quality control, assessment, and composition of responses for all staff and coordination actions required to fulfill SHIELD's mission and tasks.
- Assists Project Office leadership in carrying out duties as directed and ensures their guidance and priorities are reflected in all staff actions performed within the organization.
- Coordinates to obtain leadership guidance relevant to the dissemination of organization actions, policy, and resources.
- In coordination with the SHIELD leadership team at the Project, Product, and Directorate levels, maintains cognizance and awareness of cost, schedule and performance of the organization's portfolio/equities and fully coordinates with appropriate organizational elements to perform relevant analyses and compose and render timely and accurate responses to all SACO taskers.
- Produces final format products that are clear, concise, complete and accurate, to include but not limited to e-mail correspondence; fact sheets; information papers; memorandums; Weapons Systems Handbook contents, Program Reviews; executive summaries; military briefs; oral presentations; and policies. Performs input, retrieval, and analysis of data/information to process and validate SACO products for timely and accurate reporting of all actions
- - comprehensively and effectively gathers, maintains, and analyzes data to ensure it is utilized accurately in the context of the applicable SACO response.
- Responds to inquiries from staff elements on a variety of subjects, such as status of suspense and requests for extensions.
- Supports the day-to-day administrative and managerial operations of the Project Office.
- Assigns and reviews of taskings and work products; assures production and accuracy requirements are fully met.
- Responsible for providing training and instruction for new personnel concerning internal staff action standard operating procedures and terminology, as well as preparation, content and assembly of staff actions.
Education:
- A minimum BS/BA degree in relevant field is required. An additional 5 year of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, self-motivated, and people-oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Capable of working proficiently with a diverse array of customers to translate their programmatic/technical requirements into effective graphical products to convey the customer's respective message(s) and information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products with emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
The position is onsite at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Relocation assistance is not available.
