Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care to animals, including routine exams and administering medications as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, and provide post-operative care.
- Safely handle and restrain animals during exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with veterinary standards.
- Educate pet owners on animal care, health maintenance, and preventive care practices.
- Collaborate with our veterinary team to ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification required.
- Proven experience in a veterinary setting with a strong understanding of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and best practices in animal care.
- Proficiency in animal handling, restraint, catheterization, and other clinical techniques.
- Knowledge of animal anatomy and veterinary care protocols.
- Experience in primary care, laboratory procedures, and surgery is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
