What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor position at Montebello Packaging?
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
· Primary point of contact for Job Packet review and verification prior to and during Line Clearance and Job Set-up protocols. Ensuring Line capability from Job Set-up (Sampling and Test Plans) through Line Operations to Final Product Release are addressed and verified prior to manufacturing.
· Primary PVS or Print Vision System Lead Operator ensuring PVS operational use from Job Set-up through Line Verification to Final Product Release. Corrects “out of tolerance” conditions by completing and verifying needed adjustments ensuring continuous PVS operational integrity and use. Escalates “non-use or operational” conditions to appropriate Plant Management.
· Primary point of contact for verification of inspection and test device calibration and use integrity. Replaces inspection and/or test devices found to exhibit non-use conditions, and reports same to Device Calibration POC.
· Primary point of contact for ensuring accurate product and process quality reporting as reported by Shift Supervisor, QC Inspector and Line Operations from Job Set-up (Sampling and Test Plans) through Line Operations to Final Product Release. Escalates product quality reporting deficiencies to Shift Supervisor, QC Inspector and Line Operations. Reconciles and verifies product Scrap reporting as part of “Line Operations Reporting”.
· Primary point of contact for ensuring accurate product Scrap reporting from Job Set-up through Line Operations through Final Product Release as reported by Line Operations. Escalates Scrap reporting deficiencies to Shift Supervisor, QC Inspector and Line Operations. Reconciles and verifies product Scrap reporting as part of “Line Operations Reporting”.
· Primary point of contact for ensuring accurate Product Release reporting. Escalates Product Release reporting deficiencies to Shift Supervisor, QC Inspector and Line Operations. Reconciles and verifies product Scrap reporting as part of “Line Operations Reporting”.
· Primary point of contact for ensuring GMP or “Good Manufacturing Practices” are realized through ongoing observations and communication with Shift Supervisor and line operations team members.
· Follow all health and safety regulations

QUALIFICATIONS (education & experience)
· Detailed Oriented
· Quality 1 year experience as a Quality Inspector
· Quality background a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
