Montech Inc. is currently seeking a part-time Armed Security Officer located at the Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS) in Sioux Falls, SD (with the potential for future full-time employment). This position will be responsible for maintaining the safety and protection of the EROS Government facilities and personnel. Duties include, but are not limited to patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, access points and permitting entry.

Place of Performance
The Security Officer II will provide support at the USGS, Earth Resources Observation and Science Center (EROS) in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Hours of Operation for Position
Part-Time employee will be open to days, evenings, and overnight shifts and able to be utilized with short notice to fill shifts. Future potential to become full-time.

Qualifications*
Security Officers must meet the following requirements:

• 21 years of age or older with valid license

Must Complete:

• Background check (criminal/financial)
• Physical
• Drug screen
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification (issued)
• Weapons qualification course

*DISQUALIFICATION DUE TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Preferred Qualifications:

• Conceal and carry permit

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.27 per hour
