About the Role
Montecito Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Branch Manager II to join the team at our Oxnard Branch. As a Branch Manager, you will deliver a World Class Experience by overseeing branch management and partnering with Branch Support for the operational soundness of the branch. You will generate, evaluate, and successfully close on a wide range of consumer and business deposit and loan activities. This position will also mentor and coach all Operations Officer and Personal Banker sales positions. You will be located in Oxnard, CA with a fully on-site work schedule.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree, or commensurate banking experience, required
- Minimum seven years sales experience required
- Minimum five years supervisory experience required
- Minimum seven years previous banking experience required
- The ability to be registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, and maintain the registration as required
- Sales oriented work style with adeptness in all aspects of branch management, sales, new account functions, and security
Your Responsibilities
The essential functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Be a team player and coach for the sales team to lead, manage, direct, and motivate branch associates to maintain standards of high performance and profitability
- Responsible for deposit growth, soliciting new business, developing customer relationships, and building financial solutions to meet clients’ needs
- Oversee cross-selling efforts of the branch staff and facilitate staff referrals of Bank and other line of business products and services
- Set and achieve individual and branch goals; conduct branch sales meetings to educate, motivate, and incentivize staff
- Ensure training of new products, services, and procedures; ability to perform teller and personal banker tasks when necessary
- Adhere to sales, service, and operations policies and procedures; manage and review operational and financial reporting

The target salary for a new hire in this role is $103,610.76. Individual pay is based on a multitude of factors, including candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform in the position and pay equity.
